Haptic Feedback with Oculus Quest could be the next step in immersion

Gaming has always been on an ever-evolving search for immersion. VR brought that to the next level, and now with headsets like the Oculus Quest you can be immersed in a virtual world without being tethered by a cable. As with any form of technology, specs are always evolving – but when it comes to immersion, where do we go from here?

Mike from VR Oasis shows us one amazing possibility: A complete haptic feedback kit from bHaptics, compatible with Oculus Quest!

The bHaptics Tacsuit includes a vest, face cushion, armbands and hand wraps – all completely wireless. It can even branch out into a traditional PCVR setup with a backpack slot for a laptop, as well as foot trackers with some additional hardware. In his video, Mike shows us the kit, mobile app, how to set it all up with Oculus Quest, and what’s like to box in Thrill of the Fight with haptic feedback!

You can find more information on the bHaptics tacsuit here. Look here to see the list of currently supported games.
